Rosana Mumford

Patient Care Coordinator

Rosana was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil; she grew up in an Italian family. She also lived in the Mideast with her husband and children for six years; together, they traveled extensively around the world. Rosana has worked in the medical field since 2001, primarily in Brevard County, where she has worked with several facial and plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and aestheticians. Rosana’s passion for cosmetic surgery started over a decade ago when she was a patient herself. Ro truly loves assisting patients in making their aesthetic dreams come true. She will guide you through your initial consultation and all aspects of procedure planning. She will make sure all your questions and expectations will be addressed. Rosana possesses an exceptional work ethic, is very caring, and strives to make every patient feel like a part of the Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery family. Ro joined the practice in 2018 for its standards of excellence, state-of-the-art facilities, and the nurturing environment afforded to patients and employees. Rosana attended Catholic University in Campinas, Brazil (Law studies) and Columbia University in New York City. In her spare time, Ro is busy with three grown children living across the globe, her husband Dave and Mini Schnauzer Sadie, and can be found biking, walking on the beach, and most recently found passion, gardening.

Melissa Laughlin

Registered Nurse

Melissa is an RN and BSN with a background in pediatrics. She was primarily a NICU nurse, earning her RNC-NIC (Certification in NICU nursing) in 2016. She also worked in the PICU and CICU in the 11 years she spent at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She moved to Vero Beach in October of 2018 with her family and worked as a travel nurse for pediatric ICUs before coming to ODPS in May 2019. Melissa had her own experience in plastics with breast reconstruction following a breast cancer diagnosis. With that, she found a passion for plastic surgery and the renewed confidence it can give patients. She loves seeing breast cancer patients on their journey to reconstruction, as well as cosmetic surgical patients, as they find renewed vibrance in their appearance. She was excited to find this opportunity to work at ODPS as a nurse for Dr. Durkin. She loves meeting with all his surgical patients at pre-operative appointments and following through with them to surgery and post-operative care. Melissa and her family moved to Florida after living in Colorado. One of her sons has a heart condition that would be improved by moving to sea level. The move has had an astounding positive effect on his health by removing him and the strain on his heart from the high altitude of Colorado. He is feeling great here, so it was the right choice.

They chose Vero Beach because they loved the town on their many visits here, seeing their best friends over the past five years. She loves seeing them regularly now since they live a mile apart! Melissa and her husband have four boys, all of which live here except the 2nd oldest, who chose to stay in CO to go to college. She also has three crazy dogs, which she just adores: a black Lab, a lab/terrier mix, and a Vizsla. She also has an amazing husband she met when she was only 17! They have been married for 25 years! They love adventuring and spending time together, and what better place to do that than the southern coast of Florida? Mellissa and her family have enjoyed learning about Vero and the surrounding areas. They love to boat, jet ski, and hang out at the beach! They will always be Coloradoans at heart but are more than happy to have traded the mountains and the cold for the ocean and the warm weather. Melissa, her husband, and their best friends are all loyal Denver Broncos fans. You will find them somewhere every single week watching the game. Melissa still has her season tickets and vows to attend at least one game in person each year. There is nothing quite like Broncos fans and Mile High Stadium. Good or bad, they will always bleed orange and blue! Melissa loves working with the fabulous Dr. Durkin, his talented staff, and the amazing patients!

Courtney Gallo

Registered Nurse

Courtney graduated from Indian River State College with an associate’s degree in Nursing. Before working with Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery, she spent 11 years working in Otolaryngology, where she worked as a licensed practical nurse. After receiving her registered nursing degree, she decided it was time for a change, and that change brought her to Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery. Courtney has always had a passion for aesthetics, and following high school, she obtained her license as a facial specialist. She is passionate about patient care and enjoys making every patient feel their best. In the next year, Courtney plans to further her education and complete her bachelor’s in nursing degree.

Courtney is originally from Long Island, New York, and moved to beautiful south Florida over twenty years ago. She has always said she could never live more than 10 minutes from the ocean. Courtney has been married for seven years to her high school sweetheart. Courtney and her husband have a beautiful five-year-old little girl named Emma. Over the last three years, Courtney has dedicated much of her time to living a healthy lifestyle. She believes in the importance of balanced nutrition and a good exercise regime. Courtney has competed in three power-lifting competitions and is training for her next.

Samantha Amador

Registered Nurse

Samantha grew up in Fort Pierce, FL, and has dedicated her life to the nursing profession. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and has ambitious plans for graduate school, aiming to become a Nurse Practitioner. Samantha’s passion for nursing has been a driving force in her life, and she is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients.

In her personal life, Samantha is excitedly preparing to get married. She is a devoted mother to one daughter and a bonus daughter, with another girl on the way, bringing joy and anticipation to her growing family.

When she’s not focused on her career or family, Samantha enjoys the beach, running, cooking, and cherishing quality moments with her loved ones. Her enthusiasm for both her profession and her personal life reflects a well-rounded individual who values both her career aspirations and family connections.

Keaton Benning

Director of Technology

Keaton Benning is a dynamic individual with a unique blend of technical prowess and creative flair. With a natural talent for creativity and a deep appreciation for the fusion of technology and aesthetics, Keaton has mastered programming languages like C++, JavaScript, and Python. They founded an app development company, turning imaginative ideas into reality. This entrepreneurial spirit shines in Keaton's vision for the future, evident in the four apps and one program currently on the market.

Keaton's passion for groundbreaking medical technologies has fueled their dedication to the aesthetics industry over the past four years. This hands-on experience has given Keaton valuable insights into the intersection of beauty and technology, which they are eager to leverage in their future endeavors. Their journey is a testament to the idea that curiosity and diverse experiences can come together to create something truly innovative, with a special focus on medical technologies that benefit humanity.

Outside of their professional world, Keaton loves wakeboarding and flying planes, embracing adventure and continuous learning. Keaton embodies curiosity, creativity, and technical savvy, always ready to push the boundaries of what's possible and make the world a better place through inventive solutions.

Mila Carlson

Marketing and Outreach Manager

Mila began her career in 1990 as an Exercise Physiologist while attending the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She spent the next 20 years working in the Orthopedic, Cardiology, and Ophthalmology fields. Although she loved these fields, she transitioned into the aesthetics industry in 2009.

As our Marketing and Outreach Manager, Mila oversees all aspects of communication, including social media, print ads, patient email blasts, brochures, and in-house events. She also assists with The Wellness Program at Ocean Drive.

Mila enjoys working out and traveling with her husband of 34 years. Her daughter, a Stetson University graduate, is starting her career in Psychology and Music in the D.C. area.

Leslie Dubé

Practice Administrator

Leslie Dubé grew up in Hatfield, a small town in Western Massachusetts. In 2005, she relocated to Fort Myers, Florida, to join childhood friends who had moved from New England. There she worked for an Interventional Pain Management practice for 15 years. She began in the front office and demonstrated her competence and business acumen, advancing through roles as Front Office Manager, Business Operations Manager, IT Manager, and eventually as the Practice Administrator.

Her extensive knowledge of all faucets or a medical practice made her an ideal fit for Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery, Dermatology & MedSpa when she moved to Vero Beach in 2021. With a proven track record in managing operations, collaborating with diverse medical staff, and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care, she has become a key asset to the team. Leslie moved to Vero Beach to be close to her  parents and one of her two brothers and his family. She enjoys spending time with her family including  her nieces & nephews and new friends. She loves working out, going to the beach, pool and laying out  in the sun. She also enjoys visits with her lifelong friends who visit her from Fort Myers often.

Michelle Agee

Practice Manager

Michelle is a Jacksonville native who recently moved to Vero Beach to start her family. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education. During her time at UF, Michelle enjoyed her work at various medical offices and UF Health Shands, leading her to discover her interest in Healthcare Management and Operations.

As a patient of the practice first, Michelle fell in love with the environment that Ocean Drive creates and provides for both patients and staff. She joined the team in 2022, and believes in the importance of teamwork, innovation, and providing the utmost customer service to our wonderful patients.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her fiancé and Bentley, her fur-baby Goldendoodle. Together, they love enjoying nature and playing ball. You can also find her staying active outside, often on the water, whether at the beach or on the boat. Michelle is a novice golfer, who enjoys trying new activities and anything fun-in-the-sun.
