I had my consultation with Dr. Durkin for a breast augmentation in April. This was something I had wanted for years. Over the years had various consultations but never took the leap. Dr. Durkin listened to me and immediately knew exactly what I was looking for, he was so personable, and we had some great laughs but most importantly made me feel comfortable. I scheduled my surgery and got the implants and I have never felt as confident as I feel now. This doctors office was incredibly helpful and kind. I was very nervous to come in to get my breast implants removed since people think that's a cause of your symptoms. Once I met Dr. Durkin, he helped set my mind at ease and booked my appointment right away. After day 1 post op, I have already witnessed improvements with swelling in my hands and feet instantly. Oceans drive plastic surgery provided me excellent. The surgeon Dr Durkin is located in Vero Beach. I heard excellent reviews so I drove from Tampa, Fl for this surgery. I felt so safe. We found Ocean Drive Dermatology and Plastic Surgery based on a referral and so glad we did! My daughter has been seeing Nick Woltjen for her skin checks, fortunately he was able to identify two spots to be removed. Nick is very personable and explains everything so you understand.
Dr. Durkin performed surgery to remove the spots. He did a great job explaining the process to my teenage daughter and easing her nerves. He is energetic, funny and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. His staff is very personable as well. We would definitely recommend!
I received exceptional care at Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery & Medspa. I had a consultation with Dr. Durkin in December 2023 and immediately felt at ease with him, confident in both the staff and his expertise to achieve the desired results. In January 2024, during my pre-op appointment, all my questions were thoroughly answered, even the seemingly trivial ones, and Melissa, RN, alleviated all my anxieties.
On the day of my surgery in February 2024, I was unexpectedly calm and at peace, even before the medications took effect. The anesthesiologist, Melissa, RN, and Dr. Durkin did an excellent job keeping me relaxed and comfortable before the procedure. I am delighted with the results. I’ve been contemplating writing this review because there are so many wonderful things I want to say about my experience I just am not sure where to start and I want it to truly thank everyone that was involved. From my initial visit with Rosana I was sold on this practice taking care of my needs. She answered all my questions with ease and compassion because most of us know by the time we make this decision we are sometimes an emotional wreck and Rosana is so comforting. Dr. Durkin is one of a kind in all the right ways he knew what an emotional roller coaster I had been going through hormonally and the hard work I had put in to work out to lose a lot of weight and I’m so thankful this team of experts helped me to reach my finish line. The after care with all the nurses Melissa, Courtney, Madison has been exceptional any questions or concerns quickly addressed and taken care of. After my mommy make over which I have renamed my midlife makeover I started in the med spa with Jami for lymphatic massages and let me be honest I was petrified the first time I was afraid it would hurt I could hardly move however Jami is such a compassionate soul and I truly felt incredibly comfortable with her immediately. From Lindsey at the front desk to actually everyone else in between the team of experts at Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery have been a complete joy to work with. I am so grateful for Dr. Durkin's care and expertise. I received a breast lift, an internal bra, and 400CCs high-profile implants. Dr. Durkin was expensive compared to the DRs in Miami, but he was worth every penny. I mean, even the surgery bed was HEATED, LOL. They roll out the red carpet. Everyone in the office is kind. I genuinely felt like I was treated like gold. Dr. Durkin also made scheduling my post-op appointments and getting my prescriptions easy. I am only writing this review because I would not want anyone to go elsewhere for their cosmetic work. I am so grateful for Dr. Durkin because anything could happen on that surgery table. I highly recommend Dr. Durkin for soooo many reasons. I’m two weeks post op from my breast augmentation and I couldn’t be happier with my results. This being my first ever surgery for my biggest insecurity i was a nervous wreck before my consultation. As soon as Dr. Durkin entered the consultation room I knew I had found my surgeon. His personality is one of a kind! Very informative, straight forward and honest but witty and welcoming at the same time. When I arrived for surgery I was an anxious mess, he went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable the entire time.

My wife recently had implant replacement surgery from Dr Durkin. When we came in for the initial consultation we were greeted by warm and friendly staff that made us feel like old friends. As I had mentioned my wife had had reconstruction surgery from a double mastectomy 10 years earlier from another surgeon and didn’t really meet expectations. A couple months ago my wife had an MRI that revealed the implants were leaking and needed replaced. She searched Google for reviews for local surgeons and found Dr Durkin. He was able to give us several options from the least invasive to the most intense and invasive reconstruction. However my wife is still in amazing shape, lives and eats well so he gave us the confidence level that he could go with the easiest surgery with great results. A month later she had the surgery and was up shopping the next day. Had very little pain a little sore at the incisions but all in all a pleasant experience. You will just have to take my word for how amazing they look. Thank you Dr Durkin and Staff for helping my wife and I through this delicate matter.
I am 1 month post op from a face and neck lift as well as a blepharoplasty with Dr Durkin. My entire experience has been amazing and my results are better than I ever imagined. He is a true artist and an expert at what he does. I cannot thank him enough and I will only use him for any other surgery. You cannot see any scars, he hid them meticulously and he takes extra time to make sure that the ear remains natural looking where other surgeons don’t. He answered all of my questions and was patient with me throughout the entire process and I can be a difficult patient. The facility is state of the art and love that my procedure was able to be performed at a state of the art OR that was in a private setting.
The staff was also exceptional. The anesthesiologist was excellent and again spent time to answer all of my questions. I tend to not do well with medicines but had zero nausea coming out of surgery! His surgical coordinator Rosana is extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful. She and all the staff made sure that all of my questions were answered, held my hand through the whole process. The nurses and the entire surgical staff (Melissa RN, Pauline ST, Merisa ST, and Paige RN) are also amazing. Their attention to every detail and caring and compassion are next level. The procedure also included appointments with the nursing staff afterwards as well as at the medspa and I cannot speak enough about their professionalism and care. Cindy was great about getting my appointments scheduled and making sure that I was attended to. Miranda did all of my post op facial lymphatic massages which were such a wonderful service.
Again I loved my experience and would 10/10 recommend.

All the providers in this practice are nothing but wonderful. Three months back, I saw Stephanie Bieber for some injectables and fillers. She recommended to me Juvéderm Ultra XC for my need of wanting more structure and volume, as well as treated my strong forehead facial expressions with Xeomin. She absolutely did a beautiful job and gave me the lips I've wanted! Just recent did I see Dr. Durkin for a refresh of Xeomin and to just add a little more volume to my lips and he did a beautiful job as well! I've never been unhappy with my results, and I was very skeptical at first due to never having these types of treatments prior. However, I've never been so happy! Amazing and detailed oriented providers reside here, to add, very personable as well! Very comfy office with warm staff!

Dr Durkin is the best as well as all his staff. He is clearly a perfectionist and cares deeply about his patients. Amazing results! Paige was equally amazing! Adding that Laura, the night nurse was incredible and kept me comfortable all night. If she heard me move or make a noise, she was right in. This place is top notch. I'd recommend to everyone!
Honestly I can’t believe that anyone could ever give a negative review of the doctor staff or any procedure. I recently had a panniculectomy because of extreme weight loss. The doctor and staff have been nothing but amazing!! I had a 19 pound skin removal and even with the drainage tubes still in I could say wow!! My wife and I both have had procedures done with the greatest staff and doctor on earth!! Are every procedure perfect in the end? I’m guessing no but can it give me peace of mind knowing that I really mattered to these people every time I walked through the doors. Yes!! Cynthia injected neurotoxin in my upper face, and also hyaluronic acid filler around my mouth/nasal labial folds yesterday. I am so pleased with my results, and feel that I look 5 to 10 years younger! Cynthia is very talented, and made me feel comfortable during the whole procedure. My whole face is smooth and even now. It looks very natural and not overdone. I will definitely come back to Cynthia for any additional injections I may need in the future.

Stephanie Bieber, APRN did my Xeomin last week in my forehead, elevens and a lip flip. She did an amazing job! Quick and easy. She previously also injected my lips and cheeks w/ filler and I love it! Will definitely use her as my injector again.

I am a chicken and was terrified, but weight loss melted my face to the point that I didn’t know who was looking back in the mirror. Dr. Durkin and his staff have been exceptional with all the care I have received. I am absolutely loving the new me! Dr. Durkin takes the time with you one on one to answer ALL your questions and your desired procedure in detail. He helped me get ready wedding, removed a couple of moles on my face with NO scaring, and came to Hospital on a different occasion when I was hospitalized after a dog bite on my calf to ensure I would have the appropriate wound care and least amount of scaring. We called the office and he was there with in two hours to see and treat me. ALL his staff always welcomes you with a a huge smile and makes you feel like you are family. If you are thinking of having a procedure done, a day at the spa, or minor cosmetic items done, make an appointment at Ocean Drive Plastic surgery. Trust me, you will be happy that you went! Dr. Durkin and his entire staff has been amazing. Being diagnosed with stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer was the scariest thing I have ever been through. Dr. Durkin and his staff were so compassionate and made me feel like family. My surgery was explained to me from beginning to end, all of my questions answered without hesitation. I was given many options, not just a cookie cutter surgical package, I am very athletic and wanted to make sure I got the results I had in mind. I was fairly new to FL when I was diagnosed with melanoma. I was terrified knowing the seriousness of this and having had a cousin die from it. I searched for well over a month for a surgeon. No luck. They either didn't take my insurance or they didn't do that type of surgery. I was at my wits end when I went to see Dr. Durkin. We had just been turned away from yet another surgeon and decided to stop at Dr. Durkin's on the way home. So very glad we did. Cindy at reception was wonderful. She actually tried to get me in that afternoon but successfully scheduled me for the next day. I met with the PA who assured me that Dr. Durkin did do this surgery. I was so relieved. After talking to Dr. Durkin I felt wonderful. I wasn't scared anymore. I knew he would do everything possible to get all the cancer. I can't recommend this doctor enough. He puts you at ease but you know he has the knowledge and expertise to complete the task. Wonderful, wonderful doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Durkin.

5 stars is just not enough for Dr. Durkin! I will start off by saying he is by far the BEST surgeon that I have came across. The work he did on me turned out better than I ever expected being that I was a complicated case. Before seeing Dr. Durkin the previous Doctor had done a reduction, lift and a 255 moderate implant on me. Within 2 months they started dropping significantly. I had no upper pole volume, they looked saggy and my aerolas were hanging out of everything I wore from shirts, bathing suits and bras and my left implant felt like it was in my armpit. I had so much pain on that side. After no luck with the Orlando surgeon I had multiple consultations all over Brevard county the last two years in hopes to find the right doctor. I had a friend who had a mommy makeover with Dr. Durkin so I decided to go for a consult and from the moment I walked in the door I felt super comfortable, the staff was amazing, the practice is gorgeous and Dr. Durkin was extremely confident about the surgery during the consultation. He even took the time to call my husband after hours to go over the whole treatment plan again. We knew right after that he was the surgeon we wanted to go with. He suggested I do a 415 high profile implant with the internal bra (mesh) and a new lift. I had very little discomfort after the surgery and the healing process was smooth and easy. I'm 6 weeks post-op and everything seems to be settling right where they should be and I couldn't be happier. He's also amazing at botox!! I've already had two friends see him for surgery and one is scheduled in December and I have a few more friends that will be consulting with him. We are all from Brevard so that should tell you something! Schedule your surgery, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Durkin and staff for all your hard work!

**UPDATE 3 MONTHS POST SURGERY**
I am leaving my original review below and just updating. I am currently 3 months post surgery and I almost pinch myself daily. I'm in love with my results and couldn't be happier. My husband too is thrilled with not only the size, but the overall look of my breast augmentation. I'm the mother of 3 children with whom I breastfed each a year+ which is the overall reason for my augmentation. I'm going to include a picture this time. A before and after. The dress is the exact same dress. As you can "see" Dr. Durkin did a PHENOMENAL job.
Writing this review I am 1 day post op. Dr. Durkin and his team preformed a breast augmentation on me and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment you walk in the door to his office you are greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. The office itself gives off a very soothing vibe with all the blue and white everywhere. Upon first meeting Dr. Durkin I was blown away by his knowledge and attentiveness to detail. He made me feel like really he cared about what my husband and I wanted and made it happen. Again, I want to repeat how kind every last person working in his office is. Not one soul made me feel uncomfortable in the slightest. The overall feeling I got from the staff was that they absolutely loved their job, and helping people. If you are considering plastic surgery PLEASE, at the very least, have a consultation with Dr. Durkin and his team. Just go meet him, you will have found the right surgeon I assure you. I was treated with the utmost care and professional service. The level of expertise with Dr. Durkin and the anesthesiologist at Indian River Medical Center (IRMC) was so superb that I did not experience any post surgery discomfort or pain. I had to remind myself that I just had surgery and to take it easy. My procedure was 2 weeks ago, but I want the best of long term results, so I'm having to slow down my routine a bit. As a man stepping into a plastic surgeons office is always a little bit uncomfortable for me. However the entire staff treated me with such a professional touch that being there after 5 minutes felt just like a typical doctors visit. I’m hooked on them now, I go every 3 months for my xeomin injectables and some filler that makes my lines around my mouth diminish. Dr durkin is so down to earth and such an uplifting person to speak with! The office is beautifully decorated, extremely clean. As a family member of a patient, I want to express my views about Dr. Durkin and his staff at Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery in Vero Beach, FL. This was the second time I had interaction with Dr. Dukin and his staff. As to the staff: Everyone on his staff are the upmost professional. They are genuinely caring and only want to make the patient comfortable; they answer all questions as if you are the only patient. They put you at ease and it is obvious that they work as an entire team - they view their role not as a “job” but as a career and it shows!

I had a facelift with Dr. Durkin 2 years ago and STILL couldn't be happier with my results. He took years off my age!! I still see Dr. Durkin for my skin and have had moles removed, laser on my face & Penny is the best. Dr. Durkin and his staff are top notch. The treatment that you receive is way above what one would expect. Every question I had before and after my procedure was answered truthfully. They understood my nervousness at the progression and never made me feel bad for asking when I would receive this result or is that resultperiod they explained to me that everyone goes through this and it was very normal the anxiety that I was havinh. As a normal human being we almost always expect our Miracle to be instantaneously and at some peeriods I was nervous and anxious that I was not progressing as I had expected and questioned if I a had made a huge mistake. I discussed my concerns with Dr. Durkin and his staff the disappointment that I was experiencing and my feelings that I had made a mistake they reassured me that progress takes time and the results would come.I got a clear answers as to how long it would take what would happen and what time frame I should start to see certain progressions. This help me tremendously mentally. Because we are all normal people and as normal people we expect instant gratification but as explained by the staff it takes time and that the results would come and they did and I am very thankful to Dr Durkin and his staff for everything they have done for me.
